Members
who participated in the Ugly Fabric Contest in 2004 accepted the challenge
of turning another person's ugly duckling fabric into a swan garment or
accessory. Each person brought 2 yards of their most "challenging"
fabric in a plain brown sealed bag to the august meeting. Bags were
exchanged and the items produced were demonstrated at our October meeting.
There were no rules, other than the fabric had to be visible from the
outside of the item.
As you can see by the photos, these ladies stretched their creativity to the
max to produce these gorgeous items. Guess that ugly fabric wasn't so
bad after all! |
