Holiday Luncheon

ANNUAL LUNCHEON &

ELECTION OF OFFICERS

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2008

11:00 AM TO 1:30 PM

Our annual luncheon will be held on Saturday, October 18th, at Andrea’s Italian Restaurant in Richardson.
Andrea’s is located at 101 S. Coit, Suite 84, at the SW corner of Coit & Beltline. They are located in the same
shopping center as Fabric Affair. Plan ahead to shop there after lunch. Fabric Affair is an ASG participating
retailer.

Besides a great meal, we are looking forward to a fashion show of aprons!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make an apron from your favorite pattern, try something new, be CREATIVE, break out the embroidery machine or add BLING. Aprons are easy, offer lots of room for creativity, and make great gifts. Participating in the apron fashion show is a great way to get a head start on those Christmas gifts. Aprons are very popular right now.

We will also have a “Studio Clearance Sale.” This is your chance to clear out your sewing studio of all those things you don’t use that someone one else would treasure. Items can be new or gently used. Please no cut up
patterns. Fabrics should be labeled with yardage, width, and fabric content if known. This sale will be a real bargain since you will be able to fill a bag for only $5.00. Proceeds with benefit the Plano ASG chapter and future programs.

We will also elect chapter officers for the year 2009. Please refer to another article in this newsletter about the election.

The luncheon will include soup or salad, an entrée, a dessert, and drink. The cost of the lunch, which includes all taxes and tip is $20.00. Please let Becky know if you have any special dietary restrictions. Please circle your entrée choice on the attached slip and return with your check made payable to Plano ASG. The deadline for mailing registration is October 10th.
