Welcome to the Plano Chapter of the
American Sewing Guild!

Love to sew? Want more techniques and inspiration? Meet others who sew at the
Plano Chapter of the American Sewing Guild and be inspired, informed, and
entertained!
The American Sewing Guild is a national non-profit organization
dedicated to advancing sewing as an art and life skill. Its purpose is
to provide information, education, and programs for its members and the
community. Membership in the guild is open to the public.
Membership in the American Sewing Guild is $40 for new members, $35 for
renewing members. Benefits of joining the ASG include a subscription to Notions,
the national quarterly publication, and to our Plano Chapter newsletter. You
will also receive discounts to various retailers, including JoAnn stores
and Hancock Fabrics; and, you will meet and make friends with others who
have an enthusiasm for sewing.
The Plano Chapter was formed on October 16, 2004. As we continue to
grow, Neighborhood Groups will develop to provide localized meetings for
smaller groups with special interests. We currently meet on the third
Saturday of each month at various locations in Plano. For more
information, contact any of the Advisory Board members.
